Kids Summer Day Camp
A fun day of exploration and learning in nature
Ages 5-10
One 6 hour Day Camp, 9am-3pm
July 6th or August 3rd 2024
This one day program is a special introduction to wildcrafting just for children ages 5-10! Your child's confidence will bloom as they learn the power to identify wild herbs and apply them in basic first aid. They will even make their own B-balm for bug bites, bumps, burns and bruises using wild medicine plants. The ideal herbal remedy for Yukon Summers!
Fee: $75.00 includes all materials
Pickup and Dropoff at the Visitor's Info Centre

Youth Wildcrafting Summer Day Camp
A 4 day program to reconnect youth with nature
Ages 11-17
Four 6 hour Day Camps
July 14-17, 2024 from 9am–3pm
This wildcrafting adventure for youth ages 11-17 aims to pass down the knowledge of medicine plants to a new generation. They will explore how to identify wild and garden herbs, and how to make simple remedies from tinctures to salves to bug spray. Each class is a study of a different herb and remedy making method. We will also take a field trip to Tombstone Territorial Park to study herbs in the wild.
Fee: $300.00 includes all materials and field trip to Tombstone.
Day camp will run four days, July 14-17, 2024 from 9am – 3pm Pick up in town 8:30am /Drop off in town 3:30pm
