Our little web store is seasonal. Here in the Yukon the air and water are clean and the growing season is short. We have next to no pollution so our herbs are as pure as is possible in our modern world. All our herbs are either wild harvested or garden grown on our property outside Dawson City, Yukon on reclaimed tailings. Tinctures and salves are made with fresh herb only, in season. Many indigenous northern herbs are ancient unchanged by humans over millions of years. Some like rhodiola can be found nowhere but the circumpolar regions of the world. Others like arnica can be found from the high artic to South America. All northern herbs are hearty and potent surviving in -50 winter conditions to faithfully return every spring to give us strength and healing. At Rockpile Remedies we believe in high quality herbal remedies, ethically harvested wild herbs and putting quality and ethics before quantity and profit. With a short growing season and high standards, we work towards providing customers with the best the Yukon can give in small batches made with love. Our store is fully stocked in the fall as our formulas mature. By spring many of our herbals are out of stock as we plant and prepare for the next harvest. Sorry for any inconvenience.
